Zlatan Ibrahimovic attacks the Swedish media

Oliver Dacourt interviews Zlatan Ibrahimovic

French broadcaster Canal Plus have released a brand new interview with Man United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this weekend.

In a snippet from the interview, Zlatan voiced his opinion on how he’s treated in Sweden.

Ibrahimovic is Sweden’s all time record goalscorer. Moreover, as he stressed in the video below, he’s won the Swedish player of the year award 11 times.

That’s also unparalleled in his homeland.

But does Ibra feel loved by his local media? No, definitely not.

He accused the Swedish media of ‘attacking’ him because “they cannot accept that I am Ibrahimovic”.

When interviewer Oliver Dacourt asked Ibra if he’s too arrogant, Zlatan replied:

That doesn’t matter. I’m the best there is. Either you are proud or you are not.

Man United star is out

Man United drew 0-0 with Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday.

After the Southampton game Jose Mourinho confirmed that his Swedish star is injured.

In a bad blow, Zlatan has been ruled out for up to a month.

It seems that Ibra may have a problem with his knee. He’s obviously just recently returned to action from a long term ACL injury.

Man United also lost striker Romelu Lukaku in the Southampton game.

Man United were already missing the likes of Michael Carrick and Eric Bailly because of injuries.
