Zinedine Zidane will leave Madrid
It’s crunch time
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane might not be that for much longer according to the latest odds on the Frenchman staying at the Bernabeu.
The boss is under immense pressure at this moment in time with Barcelona’s lead in the La Liga title race getting stronger by the week.
The Camp Nou side currently have a 14 point lead over their rivals and that looks to have all but sealed the La Liga title.
Not only that, the domination of Zidane’s side in his own backyard of the Bernabeu really didn’t help his case and that could be his downfall.
Another loss could certainly be the end of his job and the latest odds for the manager to leave or be sacked are 6/4.
That makes his odds the shortest they have ever been to go and that is certainly not a good sign for the manager being coveted as the best in the world recently.
Real Madrid face off against Paris Saint Germain in the next couple of weeks and that could well spell the end for the boss.
If they were to get knocked out of the Champions League and so early, it would certainly be curtains for Zidane.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Things haven’t gone according to plan for Madrid so far this season and it’s looking increasingly likely Zidane will pay the price for a dreadful start.”
