Zinedine Zidane discusses Real Madrid’s January transfer window plans

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been talking about the clubs January transfer window plans this morning they will come as a surprise to some.

The Madrid side have struggled so far this season and their La Liga title is slipping away week by week.

After a poor start to the current campaign, the La Liga holders are currently 14 points behind leaders Barcelona.

That would take some implosion from Barcelona and some incredible form from Real Madrid to catch up.

That would also lead to some suggesting that the side would strengthen in the transfer market to ensure they do all they can to catch Barcelona.

Not only that, they have a Champions League that they must defend and it’s not going to be easy.

Though, Zidane has revealed that his happy with his squad and could see only one player come in.

“We only think about our own players and Kepa is not a Madrid player, so it is simple,” Zidane explained, as cited by Football Espana.

“I discuss everything with the president (Florentino Perez) and yes maybe that was also about reinforcements.

“But we have not signed anyone at the moment, although anything can happen until the end of January.

“Anything is possible, we might sign somebody but we do not want any exits from this squad and I am happy with the players who are here.”

Guillem Balague on Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid

One player that has been closely linked with a move to Real Madrid is Thibaut Courtois.

The Belgian is one of the best goalkeepers in world football and would be a huge signing.

Though, it won’t be easy with Chelsea very much unwilling to let the player go.

Now, Spanish expert Guillem Balague has given an update on his future.
