Real Madrid will not be making a move for Neymar Jr in the next 12 months after Cristiano Ronaldo refused to let them for one specific reason.
That reason comes because Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly refusing to play with Neymar if he was to join the club.
This comes following speculation that the Spanish giants will make a move for the Paris Saint Germain star despite his previous links with Barcelona.
Life in Paris hasn’t been ideal for Neymar so far with reports on issues with manager Unai Emery as well as the well documented falling out with Edinson Cavani.
Reports of a move to Real Madrid have also not helped the player who even broke down in tears at the beginning of the month in an international press conference.
Now, it looks as though a potential move to Real Madrid next summer is not going to happen with Cristiano Ronaldo’s feelings on the matter causing issues.
Though, what is even more interesting is that Dario Gol claim that Real Madrid are expecting Ronaldo to leave the club in the next two years.
After that, they will be looking to replace him with Neymar in what would be an incredible switch of personnel at the Bernabeu.
While that sounds very simple, Neymar will likely not have a release clause in his contract at PSG and they would certainly be unwilling to let him go.
That could mean Real Madrid would have to smash the world record again to get their man.
Safe to say, we will be keeping our eyes firmly on this subject over the next 12 months.
Madrid willing to sell four star players to sign Neymar
With a Neymar move set to happen in the next couple of years, Real Madrid are preparing for a bid.
That will mean that several of their star players will leave the club to fund a deal and they have already chosen four of them.
