Cardi B Previews New Song

Cardi B continues teasing new songs to her fans. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker is currently overseas for her shows, and during a recent car ride through Holland, she posted on Instagram a snippet of a brand new song.

The song preview finds Cardi throwing out a bunch of rhetorical questions over a heavy-trap beat. “Who get this motherf****r started? (Cardi)/ Who took your b***h out to party? (Cardi),” she raps. “Who is it thick in the cut? (Cardi)/ Who got the bricks in the truck? (Cardi)/ Them diamonds gon’ hit like a b***h on a b***h a** b***h/ B***h you wannabe a Cardi.”

Fans could not stop demanding that Cardi release her new songs in the comment section. A fan wrote that he/she is “tired of hearing songs in the background.” Another simply commented, “Drop this please,” adding a face with stuck-out tounge emoji. One other said, “Please drop something. I’ve been so damn stressed out from this breakup that I need you to cheer me up!!”

Last week, the 21-year-old raptress took to Instagram to share a video of herself singing to her previously-unheard song, captioning it with, “;) @itschubbiebaby when the f**k this s**t coming out?” Similar to the recent snippet, the song finds Cardi spitting lines over a heavy-trap scores.

“No vacation, now you’re hating/ Guess that’s your last resort/ I can’t stand when a n***a say he knew me/ It’s a new me now/ Still a ramen noodles type-a b***h but I’m boogie now,” she raps. “Harwrap doobie style/ Back it up, Juvenile/ Drop it low, Doo Doo Brown/ Made him smile through root canal.”

Although the Bronx native has been teasing fans with snippets of new songs, Cardi previously spoke up on Twitter that she was pressured as none of her songs were qualified for her album. “I have a lot of pressure on me. I have songs stashed up. I just don’t think they qualified for my album,” she tweeted. “Sometimes I think it’s ready sometimes I think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right.”
