Alvaro Morata wants Real Madrid midfielder at Chelsea
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has today revealed that he would take Real Madrid midfielder Isco to Stamford Bridge if given the chance.
Morata arrived at Stamford Bridge in a big-money move from European champions Real during the summer, and has enjoyed an excellent start to life with the Blues.
The 25-year-old has already racked up 7 goals and 3 assists in 10 Premier League outings, replacing much of the production of former Blues hitman Diego Costa, who has since returned to Atletico Madrid.
‘Most important player’
Morata is currently away on international duty with Spain, preparing for friendlies versus Costa Rica and Russia.
The former Juventus man took part in an interview with Cadena Ser today, during which he was questioned on his La Roja teammates.
Specifically, the Chelsea star was queried on which of his fellow Spaniards he would take to London with him, if given the chance.
Morata was in no two minds regarding his choice, opting for ‘unstoppable’ Real Madrid midfielder Isco:
‘I would take [Isco] to Chelsea now when I return [from the Spanish camp].’
‘But I think that right now he has one of the most important roles at Madrid. In the national team he is also key.’
‘I think he is unstoppable when he feels important. The whole world has seen it since he took the reins at Madrid.’
‘He is the most important player at Real Madrid and in the national team. He changes the games, he makes the difference. He dances with the ball. Furthermore, he is my friend.’
